Tu Bi'shvat in Gimzo

It was a cold, wet and gray day, but everybody wanted to plant trees, so we decided to go for it!

Thanks to Hershy's muscle power and Moishie's acrobatic skills (balancing Haleli on one hand while digging and calming Ella who wanted to help her daddy:-)) - two deep holes were quickly dug and Mia, Daniel and Yoav planted two young trees in them. They then covered them up and placed a nice circle of rocks around so that no one steps on them by mistake.

Hi All,

Long time no updates.... This is the daddy writing...

I decided it is way to much work work to update so many blogs (I supposedly need to add one for Haleli Zion), anyway the extended Eshel family had a winter party, fresh hot porridge (+sprinkles, chocolate, cocoa, cinnamon, and other toppings) and hot chocolate... The fire was burning hot, and everybody was having a GREAT time, singing, dancing and running around....

Thanks to the organizers and everyone who made this such a nice party (I was the DJ , Heshy the cook, Zipi the activity master, Yosele and Grandpa Yehuda on the live music - and the kids for having such a good time!!!!

Welcome Haleli Zion Eshel

So we have a new daughter/sister and her name is Haleli Zion, הללי ציון

She is almost 4 weeks old and we are having a great time with her, just thought I'd share some pictures with you. Opappa - take a look - something in there especially for you!

Going to Kindergarten for the first time ever

Hi Y'all,


I haven't been writing for a long time, but today something new and really important happened. I went to Kindergarten (preschool) for the first time - since it was the first day I was only there for a couple of hours but it was really nice - I got to play with lots of toys and meet many new kids from the village - I didn't know they had so many kids in my age group...


Mommy and Daddy took me to the Gan and Daniel (aka Dandush) came too to see what all the fuss was about - he also got to play with some of the toys.


I was very excited and I even cried a bit (don't tell anyone, but I missed my parents and even Dandush a tini weeny little bit)

OK, this time I'm letting Daniel share with me... anyway our Tante Zipi and Uncle Hershi just had a boy - and then we went to visit him and then there was ther Brit - it was so exciting! he is such a cute baby! and Daniel likes him too, right? right! (that was Daniel!)

Daddy's work BBQ

I know, you've been waiting for me... so here I am once again.


Last Friday, we went to a BBQ with nice people from daddy's work, it was in a nice wooded park and lots of people came. Daniel and I were all over the place and we even got food (though we realy didn't eat a lot, I don't know I guess I wasn't so hungry)...


As usual, Daddy forgot to bring his camera but luckily there were a lot of other daddy's who did bring their cameras and they gave daddy all the pictures, so I can share them with you. you might also want to see what my brother Daniel had to say about the day.


Mommy took me to see the fire, and I found many interesting toys.


BTW marshmellows are realy delicious... so is grilled chicken.

My 2nd Birthday - POOL PARTY!!!!!

Hi everybody, I haven't written in a long time (my daddy is sorry!) - so if you look back you'll see a few skipped entries...

Anyway! Happy Birthday Mia! I'm 2 Years old!!!! YAY!

Mommy organized a neat pool party for me on friday (which was Lag Baoemr, also my parents anniversary) and everybody came! even my best friend Kedem...

We had so much fun! can't talk now, got to go to bed....

Yom Haatzmaut!

We had lots of fun on Yom Haatzmaut - this is my second one ever and it was a lot of fun! We Had many important guests this year - you know who you are - to name a few Omamma and Opappa and my great uncle Shmayie and great aunt Michaela and my cousin Shani and more!!!

I went with my aunt Shoham to the center of the village to play at with all the fun things the village brought over (sorry no pictures of that) and then we went home for the seuda (lunch) which was as customary for the day a BBQ (was great! and delicious but I spent most of my time playing in the grass with Ori and every one who came along - it was great!

Pesach is coming!!!

Pesach is coming today, and I can't wait to sing Ma Nishtana at the seder table, but I'm afraid that I'm only good to sing Eliahu Hanavi.



This year, to help mommy clean I took Daniel and Daddy to the Gamzu park and playground and showed them how to play with all the rides - but they didn't get it so good - daddy even took some pictures and a video so he can practice at home.

Herding the goats

Our neighbor from the next street has a few goats (like Aviad did once upon a time) and he brings them to graze on the field behind our house.

I like goats, they're realy funny, and they run away from all the time, daddy says I can be a professional herder if I want - I'm so good! Then Heshi came to help and we spent a few hours runing around the garden with and without the goats. You know I can prove it!!!

When bobbi came to visit

Since I live in Gimzo I get to see my Grandma pretty often (she lives right next door...). but I see my bobbi a little less - sometimes we go to visit her, and sometimes she comes to visit us.

So a few days ago she came again, usually Daddy is still at work so nobody takes any pictures, but since Mommy started taking them as well - so you are in for a treat - pictures of me and MY bobbi (and Daniel too)

We had a great time, and I'm going to visit her this Shabat too, I can't wait!

Playing (again) in the garden

Another of my favorite places to play is our garden it's big and wide and I love to run around and play with anything I can find. Mommy always makes sure that I'm dressed up warmly and that I don't run away :-) (I do, a lot, to Grandma - I LOVE going to Grandma...)

Me and Daddy in the Sun

On one Friday, I went to help Daddy in his work shop, while he was working I hugged him (I only reach up to his knee), when he saw me he stopped working right away, picked me up and took me for a walk in the back yard (Grandpa's Refet).
We lay down in the Grass and flowers and just had a good time, then Hershy came too and we played I ran around after all the bees that were drinking of the flowers, they are so interesting! how they buzz around and fly...
Apparently when we weren't looking Mommy took some pictures (lately she started doing that and she is helping Daddy with the picture thingy).

The pictures are from very far away, but you can still see something.

I love playing, and one of my favorite games is make believe, here I'm making believe I'm Mommy and trying to walk in her shoes... It's really fun playing and it makes Mommy very happy to see me (as long as I put the shoes back where I found them when I finish).
